Who I Am and Why Nature

I am Simon Frančeškin and I come from Nova Gorica 🌄. I am a kind and patient person 🤝, although I admit that sometimes I can also be restless 🌊. But it is precisely this restlessness that has taught me a lot in life. It has taught me to listen to myself. It has taught me that I need to get up and go. And most often, it has taken me to the place where I find my answers – into nature 🌲.

Nature is my place of escape. My place of freedom 🕊️. When I step onto a forest path or an open trail, something inside me changes ✨. The tension that builds up in my mind and body throughout the day slowly begins to fade. Step by step 👣. Breath by breath 🌬️. As if every step takes away a part of the burden I carry with me 🎒.

In nature, I find my freedom, my inner peace 🧘‍♂️ and, above all, happiness 😊. There is no pretending there. No noise of expectations. No need to prove anything. Just me, the path and my breath. When I clear my head while running, my thoughts become clearer 💭. What seemed complicated before becomes simple. What once felt heavy loses its weight.

Nature teaches me simplicity 🌱. To be here and now. To breathe. To keep moving forward. Not to rush through life, but to experience it in the rhythm of my steps 🏃‍♂️. And that is exactly why I keep returning there. Not because I have to. But because I want to ❤️. Because I know that there I will find a part of myself that I can easily lose in the pace of everyday life.

My life motto is: enjoy life to the fullest 🔥. And for me, it starts right there – on the trail, among the trees, under the open sky 🌤️.

🏃‍♂️ Running and Perseverance

I started taking running seriously in 2017 📅, when I ran my first race 🏁. I still remember that feeling. A mixture of nervousness, anticipation and quiet doubt 😅. I wondered if I could do it. If I was prepared enough. If I was good enough.

When I crossed the finish line 🎯, I felt something special. Pride 💪. Strength. And above all, the realization that I was capable of more than I had allowed myself to believe until then. That moment left a mark on me. Not because of the medal 🥇 or the result, but because of the feeling that I had overcome myself.

From that point on, I kept going. Running became close to my heart ❤️. It became part of my life, part of my routine and part of my growth 📈. Of course, not every day was the same. There were ups and downs ⛰️. Days when everything felt easy, when my legs seemed to run forward on their own. And days when it was difficult. When my body doubted. When my mind was looking for excuses.

But it was precisely in those moments that I learned the most 📚. I learned that perseverance is more important than perfection. That not every training session has to be perfect. What matters is that you show up. That you keep going. That you take the next step, even when it is not easy 👊.

Today, my training includes a combination of running workouts and gym sessions 🏋️‍♂️. I work on strength, endurance and balance ⚖️. But even more important than all of that is inner balance. Running has taught me discipline, but at the same time, it has taught me to listen to my body 👂. It has taught me that a fall is not the end. It is part of the journey.

Every challenge has made me stronger. Every moment of fatigue has taught me that I have to believe in myself 🙏. And every time I thought about giving up, I told myself: one more step. Just one more. And very often, that one step was the one that made the difference 🔄.

🕊️ Running and Freedom

I like running with other people 👥, because the energy of a group gives you a special boost. But I also enjoy running alone 🌅. That is when I feel most connected to myself. There are no external distractions, just the rhythm of my steps and my breathing 🎶.

Running gives me a feeling of freedom 🕊️. I do not compete in order to be better than others. I take part in organized races 🏃‍♂️🏁 because they give me extra motivation and a challenge. But for me, running is not just about competition. It is an escape from stress 😌. It is time for myself. It is a connection with myself.

While running, I clear my mind and turn my thoughts in a positive direction 💡. If something is bothering me, I process it with every step. If I have a goal, I feel it even more strongly while running 🎯. And when I return home, I am relaxed, calm and satisfied 😊. As if I have done something good for myself – and that is the greatest gift I can give myself 🎁.

My goals in running are not only about time or distance ⏱️. My goal is to enjoy running as much as possible. To run for the joy of it. To run because it makes me happy ❤️. Because it gives me the feeling that I am alive. Because it gives me freedom.

To those who are thinking about starting to run, I would say just this: start 🚀. Do not wait for the perfect moment or for perfect preparation. Put on your running shoes 👟 and go. And while you run, enjoy it. Do not compare yourself to others. Do not push yourself too hard. Listen to yourself.

Every step takes you closer to yourself 👣.

And while running, I keep searching for – and always find – freedom and my inner peace ✨. This is my journey. This is my way of enjoying life to the fullest 🔥.
